I’m knee deep in editing photos from this week, but had to stop and post a preview of this little cutie pie. We had his session early this morning and he has had me smiling all day! He’s such a sweet little boy.

This past Sunday Chris and I met up with Candice & Mat at Arctic Valley. Candice & Mat are both in the Army and in the same Company as Chris. Candice is a trained Chef (I should ask her for some lessons!) and Mat is a tactical satalite team chief. 
Like I stated in a previous post this session was one of the most interesting ones to date! We took some photos all along Arctic Valley and then once we were close to the top we all pulled off the road — Next thing Candice and I knew the guys had us hiking up a mountain!! Candice nor myself wore our hiking boots so it was interesting getting up to that perfect location Mat scouted out! After our little hike we started driving back down the mountain when Chris spotted a black bear and pulled off the road. Words cannot express how excited I was to see a bear — until that day I hadn’t seen a bear roaming around anywhere other than the zoo! So at first we got out of our cars and just stayed close to them trying to get a good look at him — as the minutes went on we moved closer and closer. He didn’t seem to mind, just kept on doing what he was doing. We probably looked like a bunch of tourist!!
Candice & Mat — Thank you for such a fun time on Sunday! I am so excited to photograph your wedding in July!! It’s going to be so much fun! Hope you enjoy your preview and I will have the rest ready for you soon!
