The Sweets
- We are officially 6 months down in this deployment! YAY!
- Seeing the pure joy on Kaylee’s face and all her dance moves while watching her favorite rock star Hannah Montana at the theater
- Harper is feeling much better this week, no breathing problems at all!
The Sours
- We still have 6 more months in this deployment. I know they will fly by but at this moment October seems so far away.
- I still haven’t redesigned the blog
- I got my Yukon stuck in the mud on Saturday, luckily for me my dad is a better “get the car out of the mud” person than I am. I was too afraid of hitting other cars that were parked in the same field as I was. Hopefully they had better luck getting out of there than I did.
- The rain.
Now that’s out of the way, here’s a peek at a beautiful Senior that will be making the blog within the next few days. Enjoy!
It’s not to often I take my little ones out for a session, not because I don’t want to but because it is so hard for me to photograph my own kids. I will warn you that there is a ton of them that I’m posting so be prepared for cuteness overload.

In life that make me the happiest. Someone recently mentioned Yellowbox flip flops to me and went on and on about how great they were. So I thought I would give them a try myself. I hoped online and ordered a pair. That wonderful man in brown brought them to me today and OH. MY. GOODNESS. They are absolutely delightful! I have a feeling that these will be the only flip flops that touch my feet from here on out
I’m seriously thinking about ordering another pair as soon as I get this blog posted. haha!
The are destined to be BFFs. Alex is my bestie Tiffany’s little girl and she is as adorable as ever. Kaylee and Alex hadn’t seen each other since before we moved to Alaska but you would have never known that from the way they were playing when we got them together. We had originally planned on doing a little session with them together but the weather had other plans and rained off and on all day. So I just snapped a few quick ones in between rain showers.

I promise you I had full intentions on getting the blog redesigned by today, but as luck would have it we had a little bump in the road this weekend. To make a long story short we had to take Harper to the ER not once but twice this weekend. He was having some trouble breathing Friday night so we took him in and was basically told that it wasn’t anything to worry about and he would be over it in a week or so, well on Saturday it started getting worse so we took him to a different ER and found out that he has an upper respiratory infection with a touch of bronchitis. So now that we know what’s wrong with him and how to treat it he’s been feeling much better!
Here he is earlier today taking his breathing treatment. He only likes taking them when you let him do it all himself
I will *try* to have the blog redesigned by the end of the week. The key word is try though
I’ve been inspired!
My good friend Laura recently redesigned her blog and I’m loving it! I’ve been meaning to redisgn my blog and website for some time now but never seem to find the time. The plan is to hopefully start on it this weekend, it’s a huge undertaking on a busy weekend but it’s something that needs to be done. So if you visit the blog or website and they look a little wonky just know that it will all be back to normal soon!
